Yoga is an ancient form of discipline that focuses on moving the body with breath to boost both physical and mental wellbeing.
We are now living in fast paced and often stressful world. Yoga offers you the chance to slow down, relax, bring your awareness inwards and to become mindful of your own body, giving you the opportunity to take control and improve your own personal wellness and immunity.
There are many different variations of yoga and it is important to find a practice that suits your personal needs.
I am a qualified Yoga Teacher & Therapist who has been practising yoga for 30 plus years and my passion and goal is to share yoga with every person in the community regardless of age, gender or ability who would like to share in this wonderful practice.
I welcome you to join one of our friendly community classes either online via zoom or In-person.
The yoga that I teach has foundation in therapy and is a gentle slow flow practice.
Be prepared to be compassionately guided and nurtured as we journey through a series of linked mindful movements with breath that aims to bring you to a place of balance, increased strength, flexibility and mobility both physically and mentally.
There are numerous scientific studies which have proved that yoga enhances wellness in so many ways. Be prepared to feel improvements in your resilience, flexibility, stability, strength and balance within just a few weeks of practice. Yoga can also help to benefit your internal systems improving your immunity, digestion, circulation and helping to balance hormones.
Yoga not only helps improve your body, but also helps with mindfulness and meditation. It is important to take a break from daily life in order to focus on yourself and get clarity. Yoga can help reduce stress, improve sleep and help with depression and anxiety.
