This is a 5 week course in which we explore how yoga, breath work and mindfulness meditation can help you to manage your stress & anxiety
When we are anxious and stressed, we can suffer and become disconnected from ourselves. Anxiety is a common mental health issue.
Yoga works to calm the nervous system, increases awareness physically, mentally and emotionally, lowers stress, reduces muscle tension and enhances attention and concentration.
This workshop will teach you ways to use your body and breath to shift your emotional state. We will practice and learn techniques to discover more peace and ease.
Simple centering practices
Identifying and monitoring feelings
Slow, mindful movement to discharge tension
Relaxation inducing restorative postures
Pranayama (breath work) to quiet the mind
Guided relaxation and meditation
Supporting information workbooks (by email) will be provided and questions will be welcomed.
Participant numbers are limited to 8 per course to allow for discussion and uninterrupted interaction
