YOGA FOR MEN

Are you  looking to start a new yoga routine , but feeling apprehensive about joining a  regular class, then this  could be the perfect solution for you.


A Yoga class specifically designed for men of all ages and abilities that focus on mind-body wellness helping to improve flexibility, developing balanced strength, increasing stamina and helping to reduce stress and anxiety.


Yogabons Yoga for Men community  classes have been running since 2018 and offer a friendly welcome space for you to learn yoga, breathing techniques and simple meditation practices to support your health and wellness.


So why choose Yoga?


In my experience many men choose to come to yoga  initially with the aim to improve flexibility, strength, balance and mobility.  And yes, these are all fabulous benefits of a regular yoga practice. 

But what I have seen is that alongside these is that many men really benefit from taking time from their busy lives and find this space in which to switch off, relax and find space in both body and mind which often leads to stress reduction and better quality sleep.


In each class we start with gentle  breath led joint and muscle movements  to gently prepare your body for the practice, then journeying slowly and mindfully through a series of yoga postures finishing with a guided 10 minute relaxation to allow your body and mind to rest and assimilate the benefits of the practice.


Even if you feel you are not flexible, have injuries or any other conditions which you may feel restrict you , please be assured that the postures can  normally be adapted for safe practice .


A health questionnaire is required to be completed before attending classes along with a brief phone call  with Sandi to ensure your safety and suitability for Yoga.
